Connecting With People™
This foundational program is critical to the success and effectiveness of all employees. Effective communication is critical to being effective in whatever role a person is in, whether it be a contributor, manger, director, or executive. Organizations that communicate effectively are more efficient and able to focus on their business.
Research: Research and experience have shown that organizations that communicate effectively are more productive, efficient, and successful. In 2005 Watson Wyatt found a strong relationship between communication and a number of measures of organizational performance: Companies with high communication effectiveness had 57% greater total return to shareholders, 19.4% higher market premium, were 4.5 times more likely to have employee engagement, and had 20% lower turnover than companies with low communication effectiveness. It is clear that communicating effectively is not just a soft skill, but one critical to personal and organizational success.
Program Description:
Connecting With People™ teaches participants about their nature, behavioral patterns, and the patterns of others. Using their Personal Communication Report, participants learn which combination of the four patterns best describes their natural behavior. Participants also learn how each pattern will act and react in the work environment. The strengths and weaknesses of each of the patterns of communication are also examined. The Persogenics Personal Communication Assessment is the assessment and evaluation product used by participants to identify their primary and secondary patterns of communication.
Participants Discover:
- How they see themselves , how others see them, and how they respond under stress
- How their behavior and communication pattern impacts other people
- How others are motivated based their priorities
- How others communicate, use time, make decisions, pace themselves at work, and handle conflict
- The skills for modifying their patterns to create more productive relationships
- How to get work done faster!
Business Impact:
- More effective one-on-one interaction
- Greater trust between managers and employees
- More efficient communications within teams and work units
- Increased capacity to get more done with greater speed
