Target Audience
The primary audience of the Accelerated Foundations Program are individual contributors . The outcome of the program is to develop efficient and effective individuals who are more able to exceed performance expectations. The program is also available to first-line supervisors through senior leaders to address leadership development gaps.
Foundation-building Coursework
Connecting With People™
- Interpersonal effectiveness and communications course that teaches participants how to engage in efficient interpersonal interactions and to be more effective communicators in one-on-one situations and in work teams. Participants are taught how to make temporary modifications in order to get what they want done more quickly as they develop their ability to "connect with people". Course content centers on interpersonal effectiveness, and creating an efficient workforce. Participants learn how others see them compared to how they see themselves and how to get what they want faster by making temporary modifications. Participants complete the Personal Communications Assessment as part of the coursework.
Inspiring Trust & Confidence
- This fun and media rich course teaches participants how to inspire trust and confidence in their supervisors, peers, customers, and other leaders in the organization. Participants are taught the importance of building a commendable track record by thinking like a brand and acting with competence and character. Participants also learn how to be trustworthy, accountable for job duties and assignments, and how to deliver value with an uncommon degree of excellence.
Time Management
- Teaches the discipline of effectively organizing and executing around the right priorities at work and in their personal life. Participants learn how to recognize and avoid activities that distract from the highest and best use of time. Participants learn principles of setting daily and weekly goals, prioritizing and scheduling activities, and avoiding time-robbing distractions. Most importantly, participants learn the art and skill of managing competing priorities and renegotiating priorities with supervisors and other stakeholders.
Easy to Deliver
The Accelerated Foundations Program is easy to deliver. The foundation-building courses are designed in a modular manner. For example, Leadership Choice can deliver the content in 2 full-day sessions or deliver in series of half-day sessions. Our skilled facilitators will customize a delivery approach that meets the needs of the organization.
